The number is the number on screen which means when installed within a sysem such as Zoho, Salesforce, MS Access, SAGE, ACT, or any other type of system, you can click a DIAL button and the call will be made. This is most commonly known as click to dial or click to call.
The same API can also be used to create a dial me now button which many website hosts like. This means that on your website and customer can type in their number then press “Call Me”. Once click, the API will call your hosted VoIP phone system queue, and once connected to this, will then call the customer and all your phones on the system. This was when you see your phones ringing, they will say “Click To Dial” call. This offers outstanding customer experience and offers total convenience for customers wanting to call. It is also shown to vastly increase web conversion.
